Apex Innovative Goods Co. is a small kitchen-equipment retailer. We don’t carry everything — we carry the pans, knives, bakeware and brewing gear we actually cook with, and we buy every piece the way a customer would before it ever gets listed.

Most “pro” kitchen catalogues are licensed, not cooked with. We started the other way around.

How the bench works

Every piece that makes the catalogue has spent real time in a working kitchen. We order the production item and pay for it — no flattering samples. Then we put it through weeks of ordinary service and a few deliberate stress tests: thermal shock, dishwasher cycles, edge retention, warping, seasoning. Most of what we buy never makes it past that stage, and that’s the point.

What survives gets a bench tag recording its material, the hours it spent in test, how to care for it, and the initials of whoever ran it. If a tool can’t fill that tag out honestly, it doesn’t get listed.

What we sell, and to whom

We sell our own stocked kitchen equipment and cookware to retail customers in the United States: cookware, cast iron and carbon steel, knives and sharpening, prep tools, bakeware, coffee and tea gear, storage, and kitchen linens. Orders are placed and paid for at checkout, and ship from our Delaware warehouse in zero to two business days. There are no memberships, no subscriptions, and no recurring charges.

Standing behind it

Everything we sell is covered by a lifetime guarantee against manufacturing defects, and anything unused can come back within 30 days. If a piece fails in a way it shouldn’t, we want to hear about it — it’s how the next version of the bench gets better.
